Fixing common SuiteDash problems
Why is my SuiteDash automation not working?
Most automation problems come from the trigger, not the action. The automation is waiting for an event that no longer happens in the way it expects, such as a form that was replaced or a status that was renamed.
Check these in order before rebuilding anything:
- Is the trigger still the event you think it is, on the same form, stage or tag?
- Do conditions exclude the contacts you are testing with?
- Does another automation change the same record first?
- Is the email or task template it uses still active?
Why don’t my clients use the SuiteDash portal?
Clients avoid portals that show too much. If the first screen has every module switched on, they cannot see what you need from them, so they fall back to email.
A good portal shows each client three things: what they need to do, what you have shared with them, and how to reach you. Everything else can wait until they need it. Sending clients to the portal for a specific task, like signing or uploading, builds the habit faster than a general invitation.
How do I clean up a messy SuiteDash CRM?
Start by deciding what you actually report on, then remove or merge everything else. Fields nobody fills in, tags that mean the same thing and statuses nobody updates make every other part of SuiteDash harder to use.
Clean up in this order: merge duplicate contacts, agree a short tag list, retire unused custom fields, then fix pipeline stages. Automations that depend on old tags or fields need updating at the same time, or they will quietly stop working.
When should I rebuild SuiteDash instead of fixing it?
Rarely. A rebuild makes sense when the account was set up for a different business model, or when so many automations overlap that nobody can predict what happens. In most other cases, a structured clean-up is faster and keeps your client history intact.
Should I contact SuiteDash support or an implementation partner?
Contact SuiteDash’s own support for account access, subscription billing, outages and bugs in the platform itself. Contact an implementation partner like us for how your account is set up: structure, automations, portal design and workflows. Their team supports the software; we support how your business uses it.
