A calm law office meeting room with bookshelves and blue chairs

Sound familiar?

  • Clients email sensitive documents because there is no better way to send them.
  • Intake happens on the phone and gets typed up later, if at all.
  • Retainer balances are tracked in a spreadsheet.

Five workflows we would build for your firm

  1. Client intake

An intake form and conflict-check details collected before the first meeting.

  2. Engagement

Engagement letters e-signed in the portal, with the retainer invoice sent automatically.

  3. Matter portals

Each matter gets its own files, updates and tasks, visible to the right client.

  4. Retainer billing

Retainer invoices and top-up reminders tied to each matter.

  5. Secure messaging

Client questions answered in the portal, attached to the matter, not lost in email.

Law firms: common questions

Can each matter have its own portal space?

Yes. We organize files, tasks and updates by matter, and set permissions so each client sees only what applies to them. That keeps communication clear even when one client has several matters with the firm at the same time.

Can clients sign engagement letters online?

Yes. Engagement letters can be sent and e-signed in the portal, and we can make signing a step in onboarding, so no work begins until the letter is signed and the retainer invoice has gone out.

Does SuiteDash handle retainer billing?

SuiteDash handles invoices, payments and subscriptions, which we use to bill retainers and send top-up reminders. If your firm uses dedicated trust accounting, we keep that system as the record and use SuiteDash for client-facing billing.

Is SuiteDash secure enough for a law firm?

It is far more controlled than email: files sit behind client logins with permissions per client. Your firm still owns its professional and data-protection obligations, so we review your requirements before recommending a setup.
