SuiteDash QuickBooks integration: one-way billing sync

Create invoices in SuiteDash and send them to QuickBooks Online through its native, one-way connection.

When your QuickBooks Online connection needs a clear plan

  • Your team creates invoices in SuiteDash and retypes them into QuickBooks Online.
  • You need to decide which system owns billing.
  • Your accountant needs invoice and payment records to match.

What we configure for QuickBooks Online

Map the connection, then test real behavior

  1. Review the native option

Check supported events, account access and the tools you already use.

  2. Agree the data flow

Choose the source of truth, field mappings and handling for repeated records.

  3. Build and test

Check sample records from start to finish, including the failure path.

  4. Hand over the workflow

Explain the setup and agree how connection failures and future changes are handled.

Quoted by the tools and workflow involved

We review how many tools connect, what data moves and the steps required. We agree the project scope and price before building.

Your SuiteDash QuickBooks Online connection, explained

What does the native QuickBooks Online connection send?

The connection sends data from SuiteDash to QuickBooks Online. It is available from SuiteDash Start.

Invoices, estimates, items and contacts created in SuiteDash are replicated in QuickBooks Online.

Invoice payments tracked in SuiteDash appear in QuickBooks Online payment history. Create your invoices in SuiteDash.

What does this connection not do?

Records created in QuickBooks Online do not return to SuiteDash through the native integration.

SuiteDash disables Edit Open Invoice when this connection is active. We review your correction process before switching it on.

This integration is for QuickBooks Online, not QuickBooks Desktop. Historical imports and reverse syncing need separate assessment.

How do we connect and check the billing records?

We agree where invoices originate and review existing records for duplicate risks.

In SuiteDash, open Integrations and select Connect to QuickBooks. Sign in and authorize your QuickBooks Online account.

We compare a sample invoice and estimate across both systems, including the client, line items, totals and tax mapping.

We check payment history after recording a payment in SuiteDash. Any historical data work is scoped separately.

What does SuiteDash document for mixed-tax invoices?

SuiteDash documents a QuickBooks tax reference for invoices mixing taxable and non-taxable items.

Its instructions specify a 0% tax rate named Custom Tax Integration in QuickBooks Online.

We review that mapping with your accountant and test the invoice totals. The integration setup does not determine your tax obligations.

Example we would build: invoice once, reconcile in QuickBooks

We would create a client invoice in SuiteDash and verify the matching record in QuickBooks Online.

After tracking a payment in SuiteDash, we would check the QuickBooks payment history and compare the outstanding balance.

This describes a proposed acceptance test, not a claim that your accounts are already connected.
