Founder of Exprova
Jonna Mae Lastimoso
I build systems, websites, and automation that help businesses run smoother—while creating life-changing opportunities for hardworking Filipino talent.
Founder-led and hands-on. I work closely with a small, trusted team so projects stay clear, consistent, and well-built.
My story
I didn’t start with a shortcut. I started with small jobs, big effort, and a strong reason to keep going.
Early work ethic
My first job was sweeping grass to buy the things that I want. After that, I worked as a dishwasher for a neighbor’s food business and helped look after kids and a small store while the owners were away. Those early jobs taught me reliability, care, and finishing what I start.
Community work
I took a summer job at our municipality doing community work like sweeping, removing grass, planting flowers, and keeping the streets clean. It taught me discipline and pride in doing simple work well.
College + the pandemic
In college, I studied Computer Engineering. When the pandemic happened, we didn’t have Wi-Fi at home, so I freelanced to afford mobile data and continue studying online. I learned Adobe Photoshop and offered photo restoration and colorization locally to help support my education.
Systems and automation
After graduation, I explored a virtual assistant role where I learned SuiteDash and automation. It was surprisingly aligned with my engineering background—logic, analysis, and structured thinking. I went through a season of burnout and felt lost, but I chose to start again.
That reset shaped how I build at Exprova today: clear systems, clean handoffs, and workflows that reduce overwhelm.
Accenture + the risk
By God’s grace, I was accepted into Accenture, where I joined as a Software Engineer and worked as a Packaged App Development Associate. That experience shaped my standards for delivery and teamwork and confirmed that I do my best work when building practical systems end to end. As my own client base continued to grow, I made the decision to resign and take the risk of building my own path.
Why I built Exprova
Now, I’m focused on helping international clients while creating life-changing opportunities for fellow Filipinos. I built Exprova for creative, techy, passionate people, and for clients who want work that is both thoughtful and dependable.
This page is for founders and teams who want systems that actually work—without chaos, shortcuts, or burnout.
